The area around the airport offers a very high tourist reception capacity, representing 60% of the Herault Department’s total capacity, i.e. 434,000 beds dedicated to tourism.

The West of the Herault offers a rich hotel and campsite capacity: there are 100 hotels in and around Beziers, 28% of which are 3 or 4 star establishments. 61% of tourist arrivals are from countries in Europe. Outdoor tourism offers some 90,000 places, i.e. 75% of the Herault’s total capacity.

There are 6000 foreign owners of holiday homes in the Beziers and Cap d’Agde area. The area represents the 2nd largest national concentration of holiday homes, with some 45,000 properties overall, and the West Herault area remains very attractive and active on the holiday property markets.
